EVALUATION OF YOUR BLOGGING EXPERIENCE (post 10)

What can I said about my English classes?

First of all I think that the hour that it took place is not the best because is the end of the week and I only want to go to my house to do nothing. In that hour hand my brain doesn’t work very well so when the class ends I think that my head will explode in million pieces.

But without thinking in the hour, I thought that this bloggings experience help us to practice our English vocabulary that now a day is difficult to practice because the little time that we have to do things that are not for the university.

I think that will be better to do first the talking part of English and then the blogging part because if you are faster you can go home earlier, and if there were better computers in the English class will be more productive because when there’s not a good computer I have to work in other class without the teacher for asking her my doubts.

What else you would like to write about?

I will write a letter to someone (family, lover or a friend) in other country, or create a short story or to imagine a perfect world or as simple as talking about my routines.

MY FAVORITE SUBJECT THIS SEMESTER (post 9)

Well I tough that if you were in the university and studying the carrier that you want, all the subjects are important and you have to like it because is your carrier. But now a day when I am in the university all change, because there are many subjects that the professor is bad or the information is bored and that made you to dislike the course.

But of course there were many subjects in your carrier that you will love it (unless you hate your carrier, but I think that always there are one subject that you have to like), and in my case my favorite subject is “Desarrollo de Destrezas y Autocuidado para el Ejercicio Profecional II”

This subject is my favorite because is a practice course were you imagine that things you will do in the future, is an introduction subject. Also I like it because there isn’t only one teacher, in fact there were different teachers all the classes. This is a good idea to learn because the teachers are people who are specialize in that class.

What I learn in this subject is how I have to do the things that I will do in the future to know about the carrier before you spend 3 or 4 years wasting your money in a carrier that you don’t want.  

Talking about the subjects of the next year, I know nothing. May be I am focusing in end the subjects of this year.

HOW GREEN ARE YOU? (post 8)

Now a day is really necessary to do things that are good for the environment, because our planet chose as with climate changes that we are doing bad things.

Talking about environmentally friendly practices I think that there are many facilities to learn about it. You can buy a special magazine of this topic, or maybe you can search information in internet, or watch some TV programs specialist in the animal and the environment. So the only thing that is important in that you have to have the initial motivation to look for the information.

I don’t have much recycling habits because I am very loose. I fact I do a lot of ways of recycling the rubbish but the motivation last me about 2 months. But along 2 years ago I put a bottle with water in the toilet tank because with this I use less water when I flushing.  And of course I take care of drop de rubbish in the rush can and I try to clean more the place that I went, more than it was. I wash the dishes with less water and I have a little garden with different spices.

If you ask me if I do prefer the bike or legs instead of a car, I will say you: “No”, because I love driving, but in the week I have to use my legs and he public transportation to go to the different places.

The environment situation of our city (Santiago, Chile) is very bad, because there were too much cars and companies that are favoring the pollution in our city. That’s why I propose more political incidence in this topic that is very important for me and the future generations to have a good life. 

MY FAVORITE SPORT (post 3)

Along my life, I have a lot of favorite sports like hockey, volleyball, handball and athletics. But now a day I don’t have much time to do the things that I like because of the university, so I have to choose the things that I really love to continue doing in my free time.

That’s why I choose volleyball, because is my favorite sport. I feel very very very good practicing this sport because I have to have good reflexes, jump a lot and e very fast. Also I like it because I have to work in group to win and because I don’t have physical contact with the rival team.

I play volleyball until 5^th grade and now in the university I continue playing but only in the odontology team, not in the team of the university where the best players are. I am not saying that I play bad this sport, but I do not consider myself an expert.

During the year the odontology team of volleyball play with the other teams of others carriers like engineer, medicine, art, etc. 

THE BEST HOLIDAYS/CONCERT EVER (post 2)

Concert

In general I do not go to concerts because I think that I have to be passionate of the artist to waste money in that. So in my life there is only a few numbers of concerts that I went.

But there is one who really catches my attention; it was like 6 years ago in the national stadium of Santiago de Chile. The concert called “Pop Festival” where 5 singers did their performance. The ones that I remember are Francisca Valenzuela, Train and Shakira.

I didn’t love or be passionate of Shakira but I like her songs, if it is for me I wouldn’t have gone to that concert but my best friend is very fan of Shakira and she wants to accompany her, and I accepted.

The atmosphere during the concert was magic because all the people singing, and the performance of Shakira was amassing.

In fact, in the door of the stadium we both bought a snood of Shakira jajajjajajj That I still have.

SHAKIRA: Was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, Shakira is a hugely popular Colombian pop singer who is known for the hits "Whenever, Wherever" and "Hips Don't Lie."

MY FUTURE JOB (post 7)

I am studying odontology, so you may imagine what things we do in the future, so of course  will be a indoors job. Will be a sanity place where you can do all the things that the odontology does.  When I graduate of odontology maybe I have to practice a lot and study more to be the best in what I do. When I have more abilities I would like to move to the south of Chile, maybe Puerto Varas, where I can work in a public hospital and in a clinic. And when the years past and I get a lot of experience and my children get older I would like to be a university professor that can travel to other countries to teach the right practice of the odontology.

I think that work in an office like an engineer in front of the computer without people in the office is not my plans for a future job, because I like to be in contact with other people, talking about the actuality of the country or their family problems. And also help them with their oral health.

About what major I am thinking to choose in the future is orthodontics, because that specialty catch my attention when I was 14 years old and I had to use brackets for 4 years.

1. What do you think about compulsive spenders?

We think that compulsive spenders are sick people and they are increasing the last few years. This issue is because the easy access to buy even people don´t has money. And the capitalism and consumerism promote it, because people think that is happier when they have more things.

People focus more on consumerism and waste rather than investments, there are no saving for the future and their family.

2. What's the most common problem a Dentists face along their career?

The most common problem is the expensive cost of the dental materials. So when you are begging your career after to finish the university, you don’t have enough money to pay them.

Also the dentists have to have the abilities to know how to treat the different patients with their personalities and costumes.

People consult dentist to find out improve the cosmetics appearance of their teeth and they are not interesting to improve caries problems and dental health. 

PETS (post 4)

I had many pets in my life, but the ones that I love are the dogs. Now I have a dog called “Mona”, is very big and she is not a particular race but is very similar to a “Doberman”. I have it since 2 years ago, and is a long history of how she get to my home.

In the future I would like to still have my dog Mona, but I would also want to have a culli. I didn’t have one because my mother scares a lot with mice and all the things that are similar.

Like I have already said, I love dogs and of course are my favorite pets in the world. Because they are very friendly, they love you unconditionally, they are always happy, they do very funny things, they are so soft and I can stay all the day writing good things of dogs.

What I do think about having exotic pets is that you can do it but in a responsible way, but in my case I really don´t want to have one. Exotic pets need too many specials cares that are so expensive.  I also think that is very selfish having one because your home is not the natural habitat of that animal.

SUMMER PLANS (post 6)

Summer, summer, summer. When I think in summer, I feel relax and I start imagine me in a pool with a cool beer in my hand. I also, when I heard the word summer I think in too much sun, sweat and depilation, so that’s why I prefer winter. But the longest vacations are in summer so that’s a big point in favor to summer.

I have no idea what I will do with my friends or my family this summer, but the second week of January I will go to the south of Chile, near Temuco, camping with my scout group. I think that this isn’t a plan because all the years, since I was 7 years old, I go camping with the scout so I can’t use those weeks to do other things because are reserved with anticipation.

With my school friends, we are looking to go to a place where we don’t have to spend much money to stay there, like Bolivia. But I have already gone there the past summer with my sister, so I don’t want to go there again. We also think that the north of Chile is a good idea, but we have to continue searching the best place.

The activities that I´m thinking to being part of, without camping with my scout group, is to sleep and relax all the days that I can’t have during the university days. I will meet people that I don’t see all the year and I will go to all the parties that my friends invite me.

The only thing that I want, is that summer start soon!!!!

PET PRACTICE

The vocabulary skills is the more challenging and of course is the most difficult task for me, because I think that is very easy and there were many exercises that I read very fast, so that’s why I have a lot of wrong answers.

The easiest task for me is the reading part, especially the “pet reading 2” part, because the text is very friendly and easy to read.

MY FAVORITE FOOD (post 5)

Talking about food I don't have any problem because I love food and in general there is no food that I do not like, except porotos because the texture is very disgusting for me.

But talking about my favorite food is GRILLED MEAT, but made of chicken beef and pork. I like it because the process of doing it is very special, because the people in general stay near the fire talking about different things of the life and laughing about the lazy things of the our common days.

Where and when I usually eat it is, of course, in September in the Fiestas Patrias where the smell of grilled meat was in the air and you can eat it everywhere. Also, I usually eat grilled meat in the celebration of my birthday, because my mother knows that is my favorite food so she prepares all the thigs for me.

I didn’t mention that grilled meat is not only meat, because we have to prepare potatoes with mayonnaise, primaveral rice, lettuce with a lot of lemon, chilena salad, corn in grains and celery. We do all this food to go with the grilled meat and no one of them can lack.

You can ask if I do know how to cook it, and I will say you: OF COURSE!! Is very difficult to do it, because everyone has a different way to prepare it, but of course mine is the best.

A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT (post 1)

A country that I would like to go is Greece because when I was younger in the school; my history teacher told me lots of stories of that country. For example, one day she told me that Greece has a magic place that gives to you a strange energy that you can feel it in all your body.

What I know about that country is that many intellectual people was born there, like Socrates, Aristoteles and Platoon, who are Philosophers that brings to as lots of theories of the human been. Also I know about some places with hug and old constructions.

The first thing that I would do is to visit all the country, all the islands, beaches and museums of the country. But there is one place that I have to go is The Temple of Hephaestus in Athens  because I think that there is a place that shows to you the story of the country. Then, when I have already visit all the country I would like to live and work as an odontology in Greece, because many people say to me that greek are very friendly, worried and honest.
